“I’m really excited to launch ‘TL’s Road House,’” shares Lawrence. “There are so many artists and people in the industry that I’ve wanted to sit down with— ultimately, I just wanted the chance to get to know my peers.”
In the first episode with Jelly Roll, the artists discuss everything from Jelly Roll’s first stop after prison, how they handled the COVID lockdown, the evolution of Country music through the eras, how they’ve celebrated their first successes in the industry and the meaning of Jelly Roll’s name.
“It’s definitely a learning curve putting this podcast together,” describes Lawrence about being hands-on in the development of “TL’s Road House.” “Cameras have fallen for sure, but we’ve made some good adjustments after getting a few in the can.”
The podcast will premiere every Wednesday morning via Anchor and is available on Lawrence’s YouTube Channel.“TL’s Road House” is the latest addition to Lawrence’s industry empire following upon the success of “Honky Tonkin’ With Tracy Lawrence” his award-nominated and nationally syndicated radio show. In addition to being out on the road this fall with acts including Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley and his co-headlining tour with Clay Walker, Lawrence will be hosting his 17th annual Mission:Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit concert alongside Gary Allan and Travis Denning. The event will fry a record breaking 1,200 turkeys and has lead to over 64,000 meals served towards the homeless and hungry across Middle Tennessee since its creation.
